Biography.
The Dejected are a relatively new band who formed in 2008 as a soft rock band. The band is made up of Frankie (22) on vocals, Jay (21) on keyboard, Johnno (22) on guitar. They are based in south Sheffield where all members grew up together and did their first try out gig at The Shed in Leicester. They had success with this and so decided to start selling their music onto radios. Then after the success of their debut album, ‘Pipelines’ they headed back into the studio to create their second album ‘Circles’. The first single from this album is ‘Save Me’ for which they have created a video scheduled for release in early December 2012.
Frankie Jay and Johnno met at college as they shared a music class. After forming a quick friendship they decided to group together and start a band. They dreamed about forming a band and had small jam sessions when they could. After playing a few small gigs for fun they decided that they wanted to take it further and so decided to meet up with their old college music teacher. His enthusiasm for their music pushed them to focus more serious attention on their passion for music. From then on the band was no longer a hobby, but a lifestyle.
